We went in winter for a weekend break. The sea was very choppy and this made for some lovely views of the waves. A lovely stroll along the promenade. The back drop is all houses/hotels. The road sweeper came along every morning we were there....More

Very pebbly beach with few food or shops, have to go one road back. The best bit is at sunset when a few thousand starlings form a cloud of swirling proportions. A murmuration of starlings.

We visited at the end of November and although it was cold it was sunny. Obviously nothing happening on the promendade but it is good walk from one end to the other. Best of all there was free parking for four hours.

What a gorgeous location on the west coast of Wales perfect for a stroll after a long drive through the Welsh countryside to get there. The buildings were timeless and the promenade wide and litter free. Parking is always a challenge but that's nothing unusual.

Very nice promenade for walking, running and taking photographs. Long sand & gravel beach with nice cliff on the northern end.
