What a great visit! Take a trip to top. Beware the stairs become narrower to top. With over 200 steps it's not for faint hearted. Spectacular views well with it. The guided tours also worth it! I must not be away so long next time!

If you visit Worcester you must go and see the cathedral. A wonderful space to sit and contemplate life even if you are not religious.

Historic, monumental building, at the south end of today’s central shopping area, it is towering over the town, and can be seen from almost anywhere, well worth a visit.

A must see in Worcester and a bonus for history lovers. You can visit the tomb of King John which a history lover will get a kick out of but don't tell the Queen

this has become a regular thing on our calendar . All the dignitaries were in their finery . Not as fluently organised as previous years , but still magnificent pomp and splendour . Proud to be English

Shame the tower wasn’t open. Beautiful place, though. And thanks to a wedding taking place, we were able to enjoy the organ and choir (congrats to Candice and her new husband). Wanted to go up the tower, but it was closed unfortunately. But a place...More

I was in the Cathedral recently to see a performance of Othello, in the Quire, right by King John's tomb. The Cathedral is wonderful, but not the best place for a play of this kind. Luckily we managed to have a good wander round as...More

Officially no, but there is a "suggested" donation of about £7.00. I didn't officially donate but, as I took lots of photos, I was happy to pay £3.00 for a photography permit and, because I got so much from my visit, I made... More
