I've sen smaller Cathedrals. This is a big church, very big Look out for the misericords and their rude carvings... Church is over 1000 years old

Any and all major religious sites are a must in the UK. Whether or not you are a believer, you can't help but being awed in the presence of such magnificence.

We spent an hour on a Sunday morning wandering around - very friendly volunteers. It's a lovely place with superb stained glass windows - well worth stopping off to visit

The minute you walk through the main entrance, you see an amazing structure full of history and great architecture with lots of information available to find out background detail. Lovely shop with gifts, books and great value cards - with very helpful staff.

Not a very interesting cathedral, apart from perhaps the mixture of stone types used in the walls. If you're already on foot in Great Malvern, have a look inside. Otherwise it's not much to stop for.
