With no map and misty conditions we didn't quite reach the top but it was a wonderful walk, zigzagging up the hill from the park. Had we continued there was an easy walk down through Happy Valley, making for an excellent circular walk for most abilities

Worcestershire Beacon is the highest point in the Malvern Hills, and most people approach it along a ridge with fantastic views across Herefordshire to Wales in one direction and across Worcestershire to England in the other. The weather can be quite different on the two sides, which is quite dramatic. Lots of people walk to the Beacon; you can enjoy... More

Unfortunately it was very foggy the day of our visit but from previous visits i know there are great views! If you're driving there, turn up the hill by the Wyche Inn and park on the road or in the car park. We walked with kids aged 7-15 and a dog and we were up and back at the car... More

Had a lovely morning walk this morning, I found the climb easy and decided to take some more difficult paths for part of the walk up, was very lucky with weather and although we had some freezing fog there was lots of sunshine giving clear views across a very beautiful area. I would recommend to anyone and especially to those... More

Ive walked the Malvern range many a time, I was up there today, it was a little less windy than it normally is with great alround views. There were lots of people on the Beacon today but not to many to spoil the enjoyment. Great free attraction. ( However there is a £4 parking charge if you use any of... More

It is a bit of a steep trek up to the beacon but definitely worth it. We had a lovely autumn sunny day and the views were stunning. Not far away from the beacon road car park so a good walk and there are roads up for easier terrain. Took some great photos!

At the end of a tiring day the beacon still beckoned. Although tired, I didn't know when we would be visiting again and felt I wanted to complete the full range of hills. The beacon was actually quite easy climbing. Rather than going up and down along the ridge there is a hard surfaced path going around the hills. Although... More
