We love it here, as a family. The almonry museum is a fascinating place, that is packed with local history. It covers everything from the way of life, to the historic battle of Evesham. They also have a lovely garden to walk round. Tye museum is only small, but has loads to see. They also run activities for the children... More

We recently visited for the second time in the last 12 months to take part in the easter activites. We paid entry on our last visit so had our free return cards, all we paid was £1 each for the children to do a hunt, find the chicks and also make an easter bonnet. They had a lovely time looking... Myself and my mother visited here today (21/03/2017) and were met by sheer rudeness from the man running this place. First off, we asked if we could look around (I'm moving to evesham soon and thought it would be a nice place to explore), the man said yes. So we did.... then he comes bounding along and says to us... More

The Almonry is a great place to go with a lot of interesting history, which you can learn about when you go. They have old clothes, skulls, models and lots more. Because of its old age, it is supposed to be haunted, so don't go at night! Don't let this put you off going, most of the people in Evesham... More

This is only a relatively small museum but it is housed in a beautiful old building, once part of the Evesham priory, However, it is jam packed with exhibits about the local history which were very interesting. The entrance fee is cheap and it lasts for a whole year. It is also the local tourist office and the staff very... More

We've been meaning to visit the Almonry for a while. We visited to book and collect pantomime tickets. The children were intrigued and wanted to have a look around. It's an amazing place a real Aladdin's cave. It really brings the past to life. A great place visit and we will certainly be heading back.

Town signage to locate this place was not good but once we found it the lady on duty was most helpful and provided us with the information we required.

My daughter loves it here and we always visit in the school holidays. She loves doing the trails and never gets bored looking around, you spot something different every time. One of her favourite places is the garden and the activities upstairs. I love the recordings of the 'Asum' dialect and can understand most of them. Well worth visiting.
