    Absolute Stunner!
What an absolute gem we stumbled upon while out and about in Bucks!! The house is a stunning beauty, the garden is spectacular, the church moving and intimate. The hour long tour was informative and entertaining (Russell was fantastic!) We really appreciated the family's generosity in allowing tours of their ancestral family home. I've honestly never seen any house as old, beautiful, and lovingly cared for before. Also, the many generations of family portraits showed the Palmers to be an absolutely good looking bunch no matter what century they lived. Great day out!

Gorgeous Tudor Manor in Berks, a True Hidden Gem
What a gorgeous hidden gem in Berks, over five centuries of Palmer family history deeply entwined with the history of England, and perhaps the most charming and photogenic exterior of any Tudor manor house (and we've been to dozens), it's no wonder it's been chosen for so many period films and dramas! Our guide Andrews was extremely knowledgeable and generous with his tour, which turned out to just be us on the last tour of the day. Wonderful experience, and highly recommended to history buffs.

    The most magical wedding day!
I cannot say what a perfect wedding I had at Dorney Court. The staff were absolutely amazing! So attentive and catered for your every need! Everything tan so smoothly it was perfect. I worried about how it would all work out and would our guests be happy but I shouldn’t have, everything fell into place and with the help of the wonderful Operations Director who made sure we had the most magical day! Thanking them does not seem enough!

What an absolute privilege to visit this wonderful home. Louise, our guide, was on top form and was such an entertaining, yet informative, fount of knowledge. Very enthusiastic about the history of the house and family and so lovely to see how all the local pubs and houses are connected to Dorney Court. We last visited the house when it was owned by Peregrine Palmer and his wife Jill, and it was wonderful to see his legacy now being continued by James and Anna. We would definitely recommend a visit. Also don't forget to visit to the garden centre on the estate for lunch or afternoon tea and a little retail therapy.

Louise is one of the best whether she is guiding, supervising film crews in the house or looking after her chickens. Delighted you approve of how you found the place and glad you dont think the current custodians are messing it all up (yet)... James & Anna

Such a stunning place to visit! I was surprised not to find 5 coaches of Far East visitors there.
We’ve also had a fab lunch next door 😋
Got welcomed at the door by the lovely lady Anna, who owns the place, so lovely of them to share their beautiful home with others!
Everything there just sets you back in time. Very beautifully preserved property ❤️

The excellent knowledge, enthusiasm and presentation style of our tour guide Andrew was attention grabbing. His knowledge of this important part of English history was gripping. His passion and personal connection to Dorney Court made the experience almost spellbinding.

Great place to visit - beautiful Tudor house and gardens. It is open to the public some dates each year, so check their website. You may have seen it feature as a location in several films. We had a guided tour with Louise who was brilliant and told us so many interesting things about the house.

Dorney Court, a beautiful beautiful venue for a wedding! However by booking Dorney Court for your wedding you have to endure the 'planners', Absolute Taste.
Without being too unkind all I can say is if I were to do it all again I would book elsewhere.

We are extremely disappointed to learn that your experience was not up to our high standards. We are always receptive to feedback and we have taken steps to ensure levels of service never less than match the unrivalled beauty of the setting. The Owners

Fantastic house which has heaps of history. We were taken on a guided tour which was full of information and well presented in a slightly jovil way, also the gardens and chapel are worth a vist. There is plenty of parking with a garden centre and coffe shop.
