I visited this little museum after having been bought a Spitfire simulator voucher as a present. Luckily there is a car park adjacent to the Museum (go past the Museum and turn right). I would advise being there perhaps 10-15 minutes early as registration does...More

Lovely and very interesting heritage centre in Park street maidenhead. Lot's of local history, very knowledgeable staff and you can even book to go on a spitfire simulator. Well worth a visit.

This is a good venue. Especially for well known comedians trying out new material. Need to find out and book early. Bar is reasonable albeit a little overpriced.

My son had 30 minutes on the excellent Spitfire simulator. He absolutely loved it, and the guidance from the instructor was spot on. Highly recommend this little place for anyone interested in aviation, particularly WW2 and the ATA.

The collection which includes the simulator is in honour and recognition of the ATA (Air Transport Auxiliary) which operated during WW2 ferrying military aircraft from the factories to the RAF operational stations without radio, navigational aids or defence systems. This was an opportunity to experience...More
