Former home of Sir Edward Heath that houses an art collection and furnishings. This great house was renovated and rebuilt in the early 18th century. Located in Cathedral Square it is a fine sight. Entrance fee to visit house, gardens £7. Shuts down over winter.

An informative and enjoyable visit and a destination I would recommend to anyone interested in British politics and/or beautiful and quirky artefacts. We wanted to visit here but on the days we were in Salisbury the house was not open. We had to look through the gates. A great pity!

This was a highlight of of our visit to Salisbury; as interesting in its own way the majestic cathedral. The house is pretty much as Sir Edward Heath left it, though tidied up A bit I’m sure. His imprint is still clearly visible on the...More

Heath was a modern day polymath. History will judge his political life but you cannot but admire his achievements as a yachtsman, musician and artist. House week preserved as He lived in it and guides in each room are well worth listening to.

£5 for the gardens. I had a private tour for me and my mate. Cost £12 each. We were lucky with the tour guide.
