The National Trust at its best. A fine house which is both beautiful and at the same time homely and loved. Glad to visit before it closes after 5 th November. Good and not intrusive stewards.

As most NT properties, this house is made up beautifully with knowledgeable staff who are happy to answer any questions. The tearoom is small but cozy and sells delicious cakes.
