we live near wilton and often drive past the shopping village and decided to pop in to the tea room. I opted for the sausage hot pot and was saddened to see it delivered as more of a soup with a few bits of carrot in. the chips that came with it were chewy and cold. My wife had a... More

This is for the new vintage area in The Wilton Shopping Village. A cooperative of like minded people, sharing their vintage up-cycled and eclectic treasures. A word to to the managers, to fix the drain that is presently covered by a cone.... it looks like the pathway to the Vintage area is closed off as, the cone is right in... More

A nice little outlet in very pleasant surrounding but....not a place for children or young people as the shops mostly sell traditional clothes, household goods and shoes. We visit with friends from time to time and have a little spending spree and a snack but three hours (including eating) is more than enough time to spend here so it's best... More

Went to the Wilton shopping village, and we stumbled across the most amazing vintage shop (the vintage quarter) spent an hour browsing and purchased lots of fab things. Good prices & a fantastic selection. We'll worth a visit for this shop alone!

We have recently visited to buy a carpet. Ended up doing a whistle stop trip round the shopping complex and also buying a pair of shoes too! Just bought a new carpet for our snug room in our old cottage. We arrived with a sample of the walls colour and asked for help to match it up with any possible... More

This was the old Wilton carpet factory and may be interesting to anyone who has a connection. It is now a 'shopping village'. Sadly not many shops and those that are there and open are very dated and uninspiring. One cafe with limited, unappetising menu. If your interest is shopping do not come here.

It is hard to imagine that to get coffee can be such an experience. We wanted to sit in the sunshine outside so approached the counter to order coffee. We were greeted with a sign asking us to wait to be seated, only one other customer was present. We were told to go outside, sit down and that the person to whom... More

June 2013 - this is the old Wilton Carpets factory, renovated as a shopping village, but it's too small to be very interesting really as a retail site. There are less than ten outlets in total - the biggest being Edinburgh Wool which seems to host other firms as well. I remember it a few years ago when there were... More

The Wilton Vintage Quarter is a wonderful addition to the Shopping Village. Mary Portus would be delighted that the Village is diversifying into vintage. Situated in historic buildings, the unit compromises of a first floor with 7 different 'stalls' selling vintage, handmade, antiques, pottery & art; a ground floor of antiques, country clothing, accessories, French furniture and individual decorative items....
