Seeing the Magna Carta is a must in everyone's life. An iconic piece of British history on display for all to see. The interior of the cathedral was stunning and the exterior will not be forgotten. Staff were helpful too which is always beneficial. Must visit!

Happened to time it so that we were able to attend Sunday morning service. Magnificent building with the Peterborough Choir singing.

...Mr Wheeler for the most interesting of tours. There is an admission/donation request but considering the cost of the Cathedral's upkeep it is a worthwhile cause. Do take a guided tour we learnt so much about the history, the flood levels, the out of line pillars, the clock, the font and much more. Also on show is one copy of... More

Went to school in Salisbury, so the Close and Cathedral were familiar. Returning one realises quite how stunning they are.

To see it inside and out was worth every penny of the small donation they suggest. Seeing the magna carta was also really great.

Like many people the sum total of my knowledge of Salisbury Cathedral before my visit extended to Constable's painting from the Bishop's Grounds. Now I have finally stopped the car and visited I am very impressed with it. First, this is NOT one of those overly decorated Cathedrals you can find across Europe. Certainly there is more decoration than something... More

Wonderful architecture and the restaurant looked great. There is an over priced shop, as usual. It always takes the pleasure off your visit if you feel that the prices are not reasonable. I would have happily given a donation in addition to the lower entry price. You should include a free entry day once a week. Watch your takings go... More

As senior citizens our ticket was just over £6 which we deemed very reasonable. There were guided tours available or you could wander on your own. The leaflet they gave you was helpful and there were lots of volunteer guides around who were happy to answer questions. A very interesting cathedral and we really enjoyed going into the chapter house... More
