There were four of us and we expected good, honest pub food and we ordered a bottle of white wine which was not very well chilled. Despite it not being very busy, we waited quite a while for our food to arrive. Two meals arrived...More
Waited 45minutes for a chicken wrap and a scampi with chips and mushy peas. Chicken wrap was average. Scampi was warm at best and not crispy, chips undercooked and hard. Mushy peas, only got one spoon amount. Very disappointed and wasn't the cheapest of places....More
I've give it two stars purely for the nostalgia of enjoyable past visits, but to be frank there was detritus all over the place. Many of the tables had that much salt on them that my blood pressure was through the roof just in the...More
Came in for breakfast before a Saturday at the cricket. Good value for what we paid. Returned later for evening drinks, v busy and took a while to be served but that is to be expected. Over all not a bad pub
Came here for breakfast, google said it opened at 9 but it opened at 10 to which wasn't a big problem, we ordered breakfast muffins and 2 breakfasts for the little ones and they were delicious with refill coffee and tea, extremely friendly staff and...More

I really am sorry to hear of the poor service you've experienced here recently, this is very much below our usual fantastic standards.
If possible, could you please e-mail the full details of your experience to 'firstname.lastname@example.org' in order to discuss further.
This is a great looking pub and has huge amounts of space.
Unfortunately it hasn't been looked after as well as it should have been and is a bit tatty inside.
The atmosphere isn't very welcoming and the choice of drinks isn't great.
