Some work has been done to Tropical World to give it a little polish and upgrade it from looking a bit tired, which was my experience when I last visited. A piece of the outside has been converted into your standard cafe which is ok....More

We visited last month didn’t see hardly any butterflies, enjoyed the other animals. My grandson loved the merecats.

Good time had by all. We have a toddler who wants to get everywhere! They had a good time but you have to keep a careful eye where they put their hands! Good facilities, good variety of animals and good information!

It’s very warm inside but I guess you expect that. Very good for kids. I went with a friend. Was nice seeing some of the animals.

Spent a very pleasant three hours in here on a cold windy day.Well worth the entry charge and perfect for all ages.The climate inside is defiantly tropical so don't wear too many layers.

The que can be long but it dose actually go down fast, so hard to say just what’s your preference maybe summer holiday it will be more busy so book

All of the tropical house is inside and the enclosures are very warm so even if its horrible outside I wouldn't wear to many layers.

Sorry for the delay in answering. Many of the flying birds, butterflies etc are free to fly around. Some of the bigger species are in cages/tanks.
