Lovely walks here by the lake and around the woods and decorative gardens. So worth a visit but pick your time as it gets super packed.

Excellent car parking in 2 places. A couple of beautifully constructed 'hides' for watching the abundant bird life there. Totally upgraded cafe serving excellent coffee and lots of locally sourced treats.

We regularly visit Golden Acre Park for walks. There is a good ice cream van in the car park, lovely paths, ducks to feed and lovely flowers. I spend time with my camera here too. Only issue is a lack of parking on busy days.

Golden Acre Park offers something for everyone; extensive grounds, lakes, woodland area and wheelchair and buggy friendly paths. Been visiting for years; the gardens are delightful: there is plenty to see and planting is constantly refreshed.

There aren't admission charges and parking is free. There is a cafe and a small shop, so it would be what you want to spend.
