I have just watched a performance of Northern Ballet's Casanova at Norwich Theatre Royal and found it to be an amazing emotional experience - one of the best I have seen. Northern Ballet go from strength to strength - the dancing was superb, choreography, sets, lighting, and costumes spectacular, and the music just perfect! The standing ovation was fully deserved.

Absolutely fantastic! Choreography and music superb. The set was spot on and the storyline top notch. Well done Kenneth Tindall! Can't praise it enough!

Well told story by dancers who were also very good actors. Great costumes and set design. It made for a lovely evening out with my family.

Currently home to Phoenix Dance, and hosting many visiting companies, Northern Ballet's studio theatre is a great place to watch outstanding contemporary dance performances. Ticket prices are very reasonable. The cafe bar is a bit basic (after all, most of the time this is really a dance school!) but there are plenty of good places to choice from locally if... More

My friend and I took our daughters (aged 2 & 3) to watch Goldilocks in Leeds yesterday. The performance was wonderful. Even with no speaking parts our children still largely understood what was happening. Truly talented dancers delivering a story for younger children. The whole experience was lovely. When we arrived, a member of staff greeted us at the door.... More

We chose to go and care Withering Heights based on the reputation of Northern Ballet and we're not disappointed. I would have been happy to watch 'Catherine' and 'Heathcliff' dance all night, their grace, strength and polished movement was wonderful to watch. Fortunately, the rest of the story intervened and we were treated to a wonderful range of emotions from... More

We saw Wuthering Heights at Bradford Alhambra on Saturday and we were both completely spellbound from the minute the bassoon played the first ominous notes to the last applause. I unfortunately don't have the vocabulary to describe the performance in a manner that would do it full justice. The character acting is outstanding, as is the precise technical dancing. I... More

I have just put a review under the Bradford Alhambra because that was where I saw Northern Ballet's fantastic production of Wuthering Heights yesterday. I have been a fan of Northern Ballet since the days of Christopher Gable and they just keep getting better and better. I don't really understand why they dropped "Theatre" from the end of their title... More

Really enjoyed the performance in Newcastle. Excellent costumes, scenery and of course dancers. Our party ranged from 2 yrs to 63 and we all enjoyed the show. Great family entertainment.
