Very enjoyable, informative tour of beautiful Leeds. So many hidden gems to see and so much history packed in to a fab little tour. Bess also brought along vintage photos so we could visualise the history and development of the town centre. Well paced walk from the town hall through the cathedral and into the main shopping area and covered market followed by the corn exchange. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute with a lovely group of people.

We were a small group of 6 and our tour guide, Bess, gamely answered all the questions we bombarded her with. She was very knowledgeable and made the story of Leeds come alive as she shared information about buildings, culture and history pointing out interesting items and facts

This was my first trip to Leeds but my friend had been before so we decided to take a walking tour to learn more about the city. Bess was a great tour guide. We both learnt lots about the culture, history and architecture. There were some great tips about other places to visit and Bess was very knowledgeable. It would be great to have another tour available so we could find out more about other parts of the city. Absolutely recommend.

A very informative walking tour and lots of anecdotes and facts around some very grand buildings we may not have found. Arcades and corn exchange also good to see.

We had the pleasure of exploring Leeds with Bess, and she was absolutely exceptional! Her deep knowledge of the city, engaging storytelling, and friendly demeanor made the tour both educational and entertaining. She went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt welcome and involved, answering all our questions with enthusiasm. I can't recommend her enough for anyone looking to discover Leeds in a unique and memorable way. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

Kathy was our guide and she was enthausiastic and amusing. She was very knowlegeable and took us around the main civic and commercial sites in the centre of Leeds. I would highly recommend this company.

Despite having previously lived in Leeds ten years, this tour explained in detail, streets I had walked down and buildings I’d passed without so much as a blink of an eye. Sarah our guide, took us on a riveting tour of Leeds City centre. Her stories brought grand buildings and people within them alive and she described the importance of the river Aire as a trading route. There’s much to learn going on Sarah’s tour, that you could easily apply to other cities’ history; she taught us how to look! It was a lovely way to meet my friend on a day out, before we had lunch. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone. Thanks Sarah.

Bess is a fantastic tour guide
She was friendly and welcoming from the get go I live in Leeds and had two friends staying from Birmingham
We all learnt so much about Leeds History and it’s architecture on the tour
I use a mobility scooter and Bess made sure that the route was accessible and safe for me. She even recommended a great place for lunch
It was a totally enjoyable 2 hours !

I thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour of Leeds that my 13yr old son and I did with our guide Bess and 4 others. It showed us some of the interesting historical sites and provided fascinating facts about this wonderful city’s development - things we would have never known or even noticed had we just wandered on our own. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, providing a personal experience that was perfect for our short stay in Leeds, and great value! Thank you Bess!

Bess was a great host for the tour. She is very passionate and knowledgeable about Leeds and that came across. Gave great recommendations for things to do later that day. We all enjoyed it so much that it overran a little - which was no issue for us .
