Beware of using John Lewis multi storey car park !
I generally do park here when in Leeds , however yesterday I parked for 2hrs 45 mins & the price for up to 3 hours is shown on the pricing info board as £7.50… tapped my card & noticed that £8.50 had popped up .. my card had been charged, so I pressed the help button .. told the staff member I’d been overcharged & that actually there is no £8.50 tariff on the price list ..his reply ‘ yea sorry glitch in the system .. can’t give you a refund ‘ !!!

What a complete joke. Car park like rush hour on M62. People disregard the reverse park signs. People refuse to drive up to the car free levels where there are numerous spaces all causing total carnage. Had to queue to get out longer than was actually in the store. Won’t ever visit this car park again. Two way traffic in a car park this size is madness. Park elsewhere!! This is the first time used this car park in a few years and will definitely be the last. Who ever designed this car park needs to go back to the drawing board.

This arcade is the most stunning place to shop. It has all the best of the high street with each store showing wonderful window displays.

It is spotless, with seating areas and wasn’t busy on a Wednesday morning. The John Lewis is a great one, beauty brands are well covered with a fantastic choice. Still had some great bargains.

Would shop here regularly if I lived closer.
This is shopping with a difference.

A brilliant piece of design and architecture. John Lewis at one end and a host of superb shops on the 2 arms of the centre. The design is spectacular and worth sitting a while to take the complexity in. Great place

I walk through the Victoria Quarter arcade regularly, and always find it very relaxing - especially on a Saturday morning, when there aren't very many people around. There is often calm music playing, which helps me to slow down and enjoy the window displays. The building itself is magnificent - especially the "County Arcade" section.

This has some beautiful shops inside this arcade and the architecture is wonderful a must stop to look at. There are plenty of places to rest your feet and admire the architecture. This has all the high end shops inside with plenty to look at and choose from.

This is must see place when you are in Leeds. We were amazed by the beauty of this luxurious shopping centre. The attention to the details is just WOW. You cannot miss it as is situated directly in the centre. I just wish somebody would build such amazing buildings nowadays.

The toilets here are disgusting. Claims to be a premium shopping centre. Has all these lovely high end shops but on multiple occasions coming into the shops I have used the toilets are they are honestly revolting! There’s never any hand soap, the water runs cold and it’s always a wet slippery mess.

We visited the centre on Christmas Eve for some last minute shopping.

As we were collecting some preordered gifts from John Lewis, we decided to park in the Victoria Gate carpark (a terrible mistake)

As expected, Leeds was relatively quiet and the service in John Lewis was first class.

We had some lunch in the John Lewis restaurant and then returned to our car.

We were parked on the 6th Floor and had our 2 young children (2.5 years old and 12 week old) with us.

Getting to the car was simple, getting out of the carpark was appalling.

(Just a reminder, Leeds city centre was relatively quiet when compared to a normal day, any time throughout the year).

The queue to leave the car park started on the 5th floor, and some 50 minutes later we actually managed to exit the car park.

We shopped for 2 hours, and queued to leave a car park for 50 plus minutes. Highly frustrating.

How the developers of Victoria Gate have managed to get the carpark through planning is beyond me. I will be writing to the council to raise my concerns in due course.

If you are visiting Leeds or the Victoria Gate, I would highly recommend avoiding their carpark at all costs.

Instead try parking at theNCP carpark next to the market or the Trinity Carpark. Both are only a 5-10 minute walk from Victoria Gate.

I have a complaint:
I went to the Leeds Victoria Quarter Links of London shop yesterday to buy a medium Sweetie watch in black. I had been told that there was a significant discount as an event was planned for Thursday.
When I tried to buy the watch I was told by the shop assistant that the event started at 6:00 and as it was 4:45 she could not offer me the discount, in fact she said that “The computer says no”.
Given I had taken a train to Leeds and had to catch another one at 5 o’clock I was effectively barred from purchasing the watch.
To make matters worse I have just had to buy the watch on then Links site in time for my wife’s birthday which is on Wednesday. So I paid the full up price and the additional cost of express delivery.
Given the fact that high street sales are not that great at the moment, what a pity I had to pay an extra £35 for the privilege of buying the product.
