A brilliant little preserved railway. Not a very long line, only two stops. Arrive at the Hunslett station, have a excellent collection of Industrial locomotives, both steam and diesel from various former train builders in Leeds. We were pulled by a lovely old industrial steam...More

Took my two year old who is obsessed with trains and he loved it, I highly recommend it. Unfortunately the journey doesn't take very long but it has a little museum attached.

We visited on a sunny Spring Sunday to take a steam train for a short journey. USPs here are: steam trains on Sundays, decent museum, proximity to Leeds city centre, and ability to combine with a walk through the bluebells in the surprisingly pretty Middleton...More

There is a small car park and it's free. Anytime you should be fine to fit in there except for the santa train times in December.
