The railway is a real step back in time, run by an enthusiastic team. You could spend a whole day going to the stations and visiting the various exhibitions. Great to take the kids and let them experience a different era!

When we planned a weekend to Haworth visiting the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway was one of only two things on our ‘must do’ list (The Bronte’s Parsonage being the other). Thankfully neither disappointed. Arriving at Haworth station was like stepping back in time. It...More

This is a Yorkshire gem. The journey goes on a nice route and stops off at some lovely places not least Haworth. All on a proper steam engine. The twice yearly beer festival is also great fun.

We really enjoyed our short jaunt to Oxenhope, the smells and the sounds taking me back to bygone days. The enthusiasm of the team of dedicated volunteers was infectious and the television and film credits make for an interesting read.

We took the historic steam train to Haworth, and had a great trip. You really get a sense of what train travel was like in the late 1800s. The Yorkshire scenery is quite lovely, and there are some waterfalls in the area. The rail station...More
