Although I do empathise with the previous review of present laughter ,I also feel slightly sorry for that reviewer as he missed a sparkling second-half of the performance. It’s only when you start the second half you realise that Coward was just setting up the...More

Not much laughing in a poorly directed and acted production. If shouting a lot is supposed to have us weeping with laughter in our seats then it failed, there were a lot of very fidgety people around us looking bored. We both fell asleep in...More

There are excellent productions,(which quickly sell out) that go onto the 'West End' or have come from there, and national tours. On the other hand, average productions this year have seen an almost half empty theatre. The Ballet company visits are second rate but the...More

We attended two shows at the Festival theatre in January and thoroughly enjoyed them both. The theatre is small and designed so that where ever you sit you have a good view of the stage. The acoustics were good. On our second visit we were...More

We are very lucky in Chichester to have a 2 Theatres Of Excellence. The Festival Theatre and The Minerva both put on highly acclaimed productions. I have never been disappointed.

When the official season concludes at CFT there are other shows to enjoy. The Winslow Boy was stunning. This theatre has really helpful staff whether in the bars, cloakrooms, front of house or wherever. It gives a warm feel to the place. There is ample...More

Very enjoyable, props very well thought through, I know it was for kids but we enjoyed it. The music and singing was good, not in my estimate West End material but good characters portrayed well. The bear character, (sorry forgot name) was very entertaining and...More

HI yes, there is a stage door, but as to meeting cast members I am unsure. We have seen a few as they leave or meet family and friends in the foyer. Sorry not a great deal of help. Have fun when you visit.

It's a council car park and nothing to do with the theatre. It is a pay and display, even in the evening so be sure to display a ticket. Prices change upwards often so take plenty of change with you. Regards G
