Pallant House Gallery is a unique combination of a Grade One Listed Queen-Anne townhouse and an award-winning contemporary extension which houses one of the most significant collections of Modern British art in the UK. Widely acclaimed for its innovative temporary exhibitions and pioneering Learning and Community programme which has inclusion at its heart, the Gallery has won numerous awards since re-opening in 2006 including the Charity Award for Arts, Culture and Heritage for its Outside In project and the Gulbenkian Prize, the largest award for arts and cultural organisations in the country.

Visited as we were passing: £12:50 (with "gift aid" suggestion) to see exhibition. Very poor value compared to competitors. This is a hidden gem of a restaurant. Very friendly, welcoming staff. The food is out of this world. Good selection of wines at a decent price. Highly recommended.

It was free to get in this weekend, there were several talk during the day about the art n display, the gallery was light and airy and well set out.

The Pallant House Gallery is always a great place to visit as the exhibitions are varied and well thought out. A lovely courtyard for a cup of tea and snack.

Sidney Nolan exhibition is great and enough to to get a real feel for his work, particularly the Ned Kelly square heads. You can take photos of exhibits although for private use so am not uploading to TripAdvisor. If I had to fault the exhibition...More
