We travelled 1&1/2 hours to visit and was disappointed with the standard of exhibits and activities on offer. The museum appears to be run by volunteers, which is commendable, however the whole place feels very 1980's and in need of a revamp. Models were tired looking and some areas had lots of 'junk' piled next to them, so you didn't... More

We visited the Midland Air Museum over the Easter holidays after seeing the signs near Coventry Airport. We weren't disappointed. My 6 year old had a great time exploring the planes and jet engines in the museum. He loved sitting the cockpit of one of the planes and he got to go in the Vulcan plane. The museum is run... More

Good value museum with a good selection of aircraft and exhibits to look around. These guys deserve some lottery funding if ever anyone did. Argosy cockpit was really good with a guide called Chris who was well informed. The star of the show here is the Vulcan, our whole family got into the presentation by a chap called Keith who... The museum is really interesting with lots of information about flight. There are numerous planes to walk round and view. Highlight for us has to be going on the flight deck of the awesome Vulcan bomber. For anyone interested in planes this is a must see.

I went with my aircraft-enthusiast partner expecting to be bored, but actually had a great time! There are lots of exhibits to see including planes that you can go inside or sit in the cockpit. The story of the jet engine and the history of aviation in Coventry was interesting and surprising. The volunteers were so knowledgeable and gave us... More

There are a large number of different planes on display as well as being able to walk inside several of them the highlight is being able to go into the cockpit of the Vulcan. Being right next door to the airfield also gives this a greater feel of authenticity. It's a bit old and dusty inside but the outside more... More

Some rare types on view here including a Saudi Lightning, Javelin and Sea Vixen. If you have an interest in aviation, this is a good place to visit.

A bit out of the way but worth a visit. Has a good collection of vintage aircraft. Also a cafe and a shop. Staff helpful and knowledgeable about aircraft history. Nearby is Coventry airport and you can watch planes take off and land nearby.
