The Adrian Boult Hall is a 520-seat auditorium with outstanding acoustics, which can accommodate a symphony orchestra. There is also a licensed bar and coffee area plus an exhibition space. Our own varied concert programme integrates with series' promoted by external organisations such as Birmingham Jazz, the Birmingham Philharmonic Orchestra and Birmingham Chamber Music Society, with its programme of internationally renowned ensembles. Together, these provide a rich and diverse schedule of concerts and events throughout the year. The Hall recently underwent a £700,000 refurbishment, which included the fitting of new carpet, seating, acoustic curtains, house and stage lights. The Hall and its three dressing rooms were painted and performance monitors installed at the main doors in the foyer and backstage. We now have six spaces for wheelchair users, including two at the back of the hall which can be accessed by a lift. The work has created an attractive and comfortable venue able to compete with any hall in the country.

Before boarding the steam train at Kidderminster,we were entertained by the wonderful Symphony Orchestra of young and very talented youngsters. How they manage to practice together must be very difficult, but they really are so dedicated, under excellent guidance ,we can only thank them all.

I went here to see Joe Rogan with a friend back in 2011. It was a really good experience, the hall was a great for a stand up gig and we got to meet Joe Rogan afterwards in the venue.

Saw National Scout and Guide Symphoy Orchestra concert. Amazing young people delivering a superb performance. That's the trouble with young people today, they just won't conform to stereotypes. Why aren't they outside in hoodies sniffing glue? Because they ae too busy working their socks off...More

Great hall with very good acoustics and a wide variety of programmes throughout the year. Hall is part of Birmingham Conservatoire so you can sometimes hear free or very cheap concerts by the students.

This was a very good event as showed several different musical pieces. These were a variety of pieces which I enjoyed. The hall we went in was quite a small hall but it did the job as it got filled nearer the end.

This venue offers a large number of lunchtime concerts - ranging from free to cheap. The quality of performance is as good as concerts/recital which elsewhere you will need to pay for, and sometimes you may stumble across a really first rank performer. This is...More
