The UK's third smallest Cathedral, but truly stunning and the only green space within the city. Designed in a fine English Baroque style, this elegant Cathedral is decorated with four stained glass windows by Pre-Raphaelite artist, Edward Burne-Jones. Daily services and prayer, Cathedral shop open most days. All are welcome.

A beautiful Baroque building right in the centre if Birmingham. Attractive and light with famous stained glass windows. A very pleasant acoustic for singing and instrumentalists as demonstrated at the choristers concert I attended in early june

Called in the other day to cool off, as it was exceptionally hot in the city centre. I had forgotten how impressive it was inside as I tend to walk past it through its gardens most times.

This Anglican Cathedral of St Philip is in a lovely lawn setting which is greatly enjoyed by the locals. The architectural style is classed as English baroque, making it quite unlike most old cathedrals. Inside, the building is light and attractive. Most of the windows...More

The cathedral is more imposing outside than it is inside but is set in a lovely place to sit and relax.

This is an imposing building dominating the green in which it stands. Inside it is light and airy but not over-ornate. What sets it apart are the four stained glass windows which are so colourful and beautiful. A pleasure to sit and just enjoy them.

I actually found the cathedral more impressive from the outside than inside. It provides a nice view while sitting in the cathedral grounds. As for the interior, there's not actually a lot to be impressed by, especially if you've been around cathedrals and other religious...More
