The old canal basin makes for a lovely stroll around, and still has plenty of canal boats both private and commercial. Along the tow path, there’s plenty of bars and restaurants, which make for a lovely area.

On a bright day, this is perhaps the best place to walk around in Birmingham City Center. The atmosphere is electrifying, the locks bridge, the water bodies, the boats and almost everything about this place is mesmerizing

Wonderful boat cruise with so much to see, very relaxing with a glass of wine. Reasonably priced and a good commentator. Recommend. Lively at night, so many places to eat and drink.

Great to see the barges but we didn’t want to pay the price for a trip along the canal. The boats looked very worn and were very smelly with fuel fumes.

Another great day around the canals.Always a real buzz in the bars and restaurants . My wife and I love having a little pub crawl and something to eat around this area.

Plenty of restaurants and bars in this revitalised locale, adjacent to the night life of Broad Street.

This is a quaint location with many narrow boats and eateries. We enjoyed walking along the canal each day.
