Lovely Gardens, lots for children to do, wish they had more investment money to spend on it. Volunteers are a wonderful addition.

On the day of the alice in wonderland picnic. My husband and myself with two of our friends met up for a picnic at this place that i can only describe as " before alice fell down the rabbit hole" the gardens were clean and pristine. The garden was huge so much to look at if you are a wildlife... More

How wonderful of you to brave the cool weather for a picnic! Glad you enjoyed yourselves and the Garden is indeed looking lovely this Autumn - leaves, leaves leaves! Sorry you were a inconvenienced by the entrances. Obviously the Hotel and the Garden are separate enterprises: we are a Charitable Trust and heavily dependent on entrance fees. We love working... Took my Amaerican pen pal over here on a visit. She was thrilled to chat with all of the lovely volunteers on duty in reception and coffe shop. Should return again on a different time of the year as the garden was not looking it's best on the close down of autum to winter. Wonderful that this little glimpse of... More

A party of 20 of us had afternoon tea 11/9/16, everything was just perfect from the lovely table set for us outside in the sun to the lovely afternoon tea (the chef had lots of dietary requirements to deal with) and he delivered, the sandwiches and cakes were delicious and the tea and coffee kept coming. The staff who looked... More

We visited for afternoon tea and I have to say we definitely had value for money! There was an excellent selection of sandwiches, scones and four/ five different cakes as well as a choice of tea or coffee and cream and jam. The hotel itself is a magnificent building which is steeped in history. It's such a shame that it's... More

Hi, thanks for the review, but you have actually posted on the Gardens Trip advisor site not the Hotel. We cannot take credit for the lovely cream tea! The Gardens are a separate volunteer run charitable trust. I think you visited the parterre, just outside the back door of the Hotel, rather than the maze (made of holly rather than... More

Work in Progress was invited to visit Castle Bromwich Hall Gardens on 3rd August 2016 to experience the venue and see how accessible it was for children and young people. Here are a few points about what we enjoyed and what we would love to see next time. • The large variety of flowers in the garden we could get... More

Lovely gardens and a delightful little café. Well worth a visit as the staff there are welcoming and may have a tale to tell about the Hall and it's previous residents

Our first visit to this very special garden today, having learned about it via their website. It's really hidden away just a stone's throw from Junction 5 of the M6 and a short drive from the metropolitan Birmingham. This is what makes it so special. It's obvious that a lot of love and dedication has gone into recovering this garden... More

We visited on a special event weekend. We were lucky with the weather as it was a warm sunny day. The gardens are lovely, if you're into gardens it's well worth a visit but if you're looking for more than that it's maybe not for you. When we visited there was tea/coffee/soft drinks and cake being served from a small... More

So good of you to review, and really glad you enjoyed the Spitfire and 40s event , it was rather exceptional! Today we have had a wonderful family playday in the gardens and will be doing more in holidays as well as in term time... so we hope a trip to the Gardens will please everyone, whether they come for...
