Went to see a concert where various Oxfordshire youth bands and orchestras were getting together to celebrate 75 years of youth music in the county. It was the first time I have been to the hall and I was amazed at how good the place is and how great the acoustics are. Thoroughly enjoyable evening and will return to see... More

Really enjoyable concert of Yes music with Anderson, Rabin and Wakeman. The hall has excellent acoustics making the experience most enjoyable. Good local eating facilities but need to get to the area well in advance of the concert to enjoy. Only problem with the venue is road closures and poor diversion signage making the trip home a nightmare. Birmingham seems... More

Attended for a comedy gig and have been here for several various musical concerts. It's a great venue, brilliant sound quality and a decent view wherever you sit (but the highest seats are HIGH!!). My only issue is the bar service, doesn't seem to ever be enough staff on but that's a minor gripe.

Rainer Hersch conducting CBSO, was a great fun comedy concert, he used the full Orchestra throughout. It was a Bonus that the orchestra seemed to be really enjoying it as well. Symphony Hall is a world class venue and set adjacent Brindley Place with a host of restaurants to choose from, it made for a great evening.

We visited her with our three and four year old children, it was their first experience of a classical music concern. We watched Superhero classical music concert and the children thoroughly enjoyed it. Such a beautiful building to hold a concert. Brings back fond memories as this is where my graduation took place. A well thought out concert performed by... More

Saw the revised version of Yes there. The band produced a wide range of sounds and I could not believe how good the acoustics were. Seats were comfortable and the overall ambience was just wonderful.

Excellent sound reception throughout the Hall. THe Grand Tier is not for everyone(Can cause vertigo.) There are good views in all parts of the Hall and there are plenty of bars and toilets It is an expensive experience and I think booking fee is iniquituous. Using the bar can also prove expensive. However ticket prices probably compare favourably with London... More

We heard fantastic performance of Rachmaninov 2nd Piano Concerto and Tchaikovsky 6th Symphony. Brilliantly performed by the CBSO to a packed house in a world class Symphony Hall. Brilliant atmosphere and truly memorable night.
