Loads to see and do here. Particularly enjoy the kids activities as they really get stuck in. The building itself contributes to the atmosphere and setting of the beautiful works of art. Located near the floozy in the jacuzzi - left out of new street!

Visited to see the Pre Raphelite paintings and the Staffordshire Hoard. Very interesting for my Birmingham born husband. Lovely to see lots of schoolchildren enjoying their visit.

Nice museum with an interesting collection well displaid, allowing you a relaxing visit, not the kind of exhasting ethernal tour that you get on huge museums. My daughter loved spending time in the m Mini Musem, witch I found a great space to allow kids to get confident within a museum space. Plus there is a nicelly organised space on... More

We popped in for lunch but stayed much longer and saw the Staffordshire hoard. Excellent surroundings and delicious food. Returned again in the afternoon for tea!

I have eaten the fish and chips, twice recently, which were great. The fish is beautifully cooked and the batter crisp and tasty. On Friday's there is a special price for two people eating fish and chips' at the same time. Staff are always helpful and polite. There is tap water available at all times, if you are eating/drinking at... More

I often visit here in my lunch break. The Staffordshire hoard exhibition is a real highlight. Also the temporary exhibitions are very good, even if they feel expensive as the rest of the museums is free.

In Birmingham for a long weekend to visit the Christmas market ( brilliant but overcrowded ) and the Tattoo. Wandered into the Museum to escape the crowds and found an absolute treasure house. The building itself is glorious, the Pre-Raphaelite paintings were gorgeous, and the history of Birmingham was fascinating. There was so much to see that we returned the... More

We were advised to visit the Staffordshire hoard while we were in Birmingham. Fantastic display well plotted out with great information. I'm not sure whether I found how intricate the pieces were more amazing or the history of the find. A brilliant insight int our history. And free entry to boot.
