I'm lucky enough to have the valley on my doorstep. It's great for cycling along, walking, running and loads of variety in wildlife and ecology. I've seen kingfisher, green and spotted woodpecker, heron, reed warbler, wagtails and even x3 egrets. Also small deer and watervole... the mill is worth checking out when it opens once a month. Take a picnic... More

Discovered this little gem of a park last weekend due to our family hobby. Easy to find just off the main road with ample parking. The paths are large and clear for pushchairs and cycles. Lots of open space for picnics etc. Most of the paths follow along the stream, which was nice to follow. Lovely place will be back.

I lived in Birmingham for 22 years and didn't know this hotel existed. Stayed here Christmas week as a treat for my husband and I while visiting family. It was a little difficult to find, probably due to our aging sat nav, however once we did we were very pleasantly surprised. Quick check in, choice of rooms, ground floor or... More

New Hall Valley is very close to where we live and perfect for a impromptu hours walking when not sure what to do or where to go. Parking is always available and the paths are good for any access. There is always wildlife, especially birds, I never go without my camera. It would be nice to see one day some... More

Peaceful and beautiful. Full of wildlife, we saw a heron fly across the river. Great paths for walks or bike rides Lovely

I really love this park. It's so peaceful it's hard to believe that it is just a 5/10 minute walk from town. The park is well maintained with decent paths for walkers, runners and cyclists. There are streams running through the park and lots of ducks, herons and other wildlife. The only downside is that some dog owners don't clean... More

Stayed at the Ramada and walked through New Hall Park from there. A lovely walk along the river and obviously popular with the locals. Saw a heron catching a fish and other interesting birdlife.

Had a walk through this park as it was a nice morning. Felt like being in the countryside even though only minutes from town. Met quite a few families on their bikes which was nice to see.

This is a great place to visit. There is plenty of open space, cycle tracks and walks by the brook to spend a good few hours here, especially if you get a fairly nice day and bring a picnic. Everyone you meet along the way is friendly, there are spots along the way to bird watch and look at the... More
