Before this museum underwent a renovation I thought it was fantastic. You could walk right through the doors and the whole ground floor was filled with big dinosaur skeletons and a giant Irish Elk right near the entrance - it was a very open space...More

The ground floor was in the middle of changing exhibitions so there wasn't alot to see. There was a choice of local history videos to watch but I was only able to get one to watch. My favourite displays was the anglo-saxon jewellery and clothes...More

Very interesting to learn about the history and geology of the area. I was greeted in a friendly way as I entered which is important. There are two floors with a coffee shop on the ground floor along with craft stalls.
