Thanks for the lovely review. Our new oak displays are flexible enabling us to change the exhibits more frequently so do visit us again.

There are a couple of displays and a small museum, but it will not take you twenty minutes to see. There is a cafe that looked reasonable.

Thanks for the review. Did you visit our two galleries on the first floor as well? Our cafe is lovely and stocks cakes and savouries from two local bakeries and locally scoured coffee and tea. Hope you visit us again soon.

Lovely little museum with a lot of different items, very well laid out and very accessible. The bear is a bit of a shock as you go in and he size of that deer!

We really enjoyed our visit to the museum. Not a huge museum but some interesting things to see and do. When we visited they had lots of activities for children to take part in. The bee hive was amazing to watch!

Had not been for a couple of years, and went again after reading in the local paper that a local fossil collector had lent some of his collection for display. Was again reminded what a local treasure this is.

Free Museum but lots to see. Interesting information about the area with lots of artefacts. We didn't take any children but there was lots of activities both educational and fun. They even have a bee hive with real bees!

This is a small museum right in the centre of town, adjoining the old market place. On the ground floor is an OK cafe, and part of the museum. The rest of it is housed upstairs (there is also a lift). My criticism is two-fold...More
