Very good tour guide

Very interesting tour guide and very beautiful theatres. Learned a lot about the company and it's worth going just to see the costumes as they are amazeballs

A lovely evening spent watching what came across as a rather confused and complex rendition of Shakespeare's 'Cymboline.' Spent 3 hours sitting down, which was rather uncomfortable given the rather tight leg-room! Good use of the set, and good-quality amenities. Brochures and ice cream and the like were expectedly pricey - won't get much change for £10 for both. Still,... More

This tour was really interesting. The guide clearly loved her subject and made the information accessible to all. It was well worth the money! The views from the tower are spectacular. I would recommend walking down the stairs from the tower if you possibly can, as there are photographs of previous productions, and also a selection of artwork (behind little... More

Being a Shakespeare "fan", I had to go to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. We went to see Cymbeline and the atmosphere was great. The actors were excellent. The theatre itself is smaller than it looks from the outside. There is definitely something special about seeing a play in the RSC, in Stratford. Can't wait to do the backstage tour next.

We thought we'd do the back-stage tour so that our daughter, who is studying Romeo and Juliet at school, would get some background insights into what goes in to a production and see the apron-theatres that were used to perform them in. Our family has only a little more than 'passing interest' in the theatre, stage or Shakespeare and if... More

A great atmosphere. Well coordinated meal and theatre experience. My husband is disabled and was given all the care he needed to make it a lovely evening.

A definite must to any visitor or local. Whether Shakespeare is your thing or not experience the 'olde worlde' world of Stratford upon Avon and be transported back in time. Not great for young children due to the amount of time sitting still/staying quiet.

Had a fantastic time here, my first play in 64 years not cheap but worth every penny, I will definately be seeing more plays.

We went in with our 3 year old daughter. The dressing up box was great. A good selection of outfits to try on. The cafe had a trolley with activities for children which included a face mask to colour in. This kept our daughter entertained! The staff were very friendly.

Ok, so I didn't see a show, maybe if I had my opinion would be different but from walking around the exterior and interior of the theatre I don't really get the buzz? The building design is a brutal and nowhere near as interesting as many of the other buildings in the area. We had drinks in the roof top... More
