The walk down the tow path pasted all the locks is just lovely. We walked to Mary Ardens Farm from the town centre and back and took us around 3 hours. The tow path is looked after making it easy walking and very scenic.

Spent a short amount of time walking along the canal from bishopton into Stratford. It's an easy walk along a cinder path with plenty of wild life and boats to see. During the autumn there are blackberries for picking and tasting and during the spring there are elderflowers. There are some swans on the waters edge too, as well as... More

A lovely 45 minute boat trip, loads of history information and background music. Felt very relaxed at the end. Interesting going through the lock and history of the ghost. Well worth a trip, staff very friendly.

Who doesn't like strolling down a canal, soaking up the scenery and being at one with nature. If you have overdosed on Shakespeare then a walk by the water might just be what the doctor ordered. To walk all of the way around the canal may take an hour or more, but this is the kind of place where you... More

We decided to go on a narrow boat trip as we hadn't been on one before. It was comfortable, running commentary throughout the trip. We went through a lock going down on the outward trip and up on the return trip. God value for money and a great experience.

Absolutely stunning scenery amid a busy yet peaceful location. Whether you are in search of peace and quiet, or just want to sit with your thoughts or friends and family, this genuinely is the place to come. Kingfishers, Moorhens, Herons, Ducks, Swans and Geese create a fascinating picture of nature at its best and the river taxi, hire boats or... More

By 5pm when you have walked all round the town take the weight off your feet and enjoy a leisurely sai down the canal. Only about 40 mins but worth the experience.

A walk along this wonderful canal is a real treat. It was even more special seeing the geese guarding their 'babies'. so cute! lots to see & do on the canal - punting, boat rides & now a big wheel.
