Always things to sit and watch swans and ducks in abundance. People working on their barges. Ice cream barge. Lovely to just wander around on a nice day. Can be crowded but usually find a nice spot to sit.

A great area a short distance from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, with lovely gardens, Shakespeare-related statues and boats where the river and canal meet.

The Bancroft Basin is a great place for you to relax and watch other people being busy! The boats provide a great variety of designs and splashes of colours which compliment the peace of the River Avon.
