I rarely visit the library, but popped in and got a nice suprise. The staff are quick, effiecent, smiley and helpful. The library itself has numerous floors which caters for all interests. The library is clean and in a good location, in Newcastle's city centre....More

Very spacious, helpful staff, loads of facilities with even decent sized restaurant. Plenty computers, chargeable to print. Help with Citizens Advice. Multiple language books. Big variety of different genre books. Audio books and a good location.

I live in Gateshead, but I'm a member of this wonderful library. I love the world cinema section, and hire dvds for only 50p a week. Top class films and really good service.
