Large open plan library with a range of resources, a nice family history section at the top. I'm sure they could have made better use of the space

Very spacious, helpful staff, loads of facilities with even decent sized restaurant. Plenty computers, chargeable to print. Help with Citizens Advice. Multiple language books. Big variety of different genre books. Audio books and a good location.

I live in Gateshead, but I'm a member of this wonderful library. I love the world cinema section, and hire dvds for only 50p a week. Top class films and really good service.

Came to the libary today with my mates to revise for an upcoming exam we have, lovley working atmosphere. So we were able to get our revision done.
