The Tyne Bar has been a mainstay of the Newcastle pub scene since November 1994, when it helped to kickstart the cultural renaissance of the city's Ouseburn Valley. Building on the legacy of pubs like The Barley Mow and The Egypt Cottage, on nearby City Road, the pub boasts free live music events, craft beers, artisan coffee, food promos, a free jukebox and the legendary beer garden beneath the bridge.

Great bar that caters for everyone, including dogs. Plenty of different ales, ciders and lagers on. Food caters for all needs. Just a great pub with great staff.

The Tyne Bar is a great daytime AND nighttime venue. On a sunny summer’s day, there’s nothing like a pint whilst sat outside. BOOOO! To the developers who took away the grass bank outside the bar!!!

We´ve found this pub at the end of our holidays. Would´ve been there much more often if we knew about it before. Very good vegan food and a lot of different beers to choose. Nice location and friendly service.
