Love this place. What character it has. Bar staff really friendly and music is tasteful to listen to. I would certainly recommend this place as a hot spot.

Lovely Victorian pub, with fine decorative stained glass, typical Victorian toilets and a great selection of local ales. Can get very busy, but worth a detour.

I had not been for a while. Good choice of great beers as always always always 😁 A classic pub, do not miss if visiting Newcastle. LP’s, yes LP,s put on by the barman. Ella, Frank etc.

Popped in here after a recommendation from my brother and we weren’t disappointed. Great selection of ales on tap and not your usual ones. Bartender friendly and helpful and a great relaxed environment. We will return
