The Discovery museum has something for everyone with great hands on displays for the kids to play with. The children loved spending time here and best of all it doesn't cost anything. Cafe is good to get a snack after your visit.

Worth a look if you can do it. Only 5mins from central station. No fee but recommended donation £5. Lots of Newcastle history.
