This is a pleasant, recently renovated park on the edge of the Town Moor and close to the city centre. If I had a criticism, it's the lack of toilet facilities. However, the main attraction for me and my young grandson is the miniature railway...More

Pleasant enough park slightly North of Newcastle's city centre, within 10 minutes walk of it though. The park has some pleasant walkways and bandstands etc, as well as a busy skatepark, but I feel it is becoming a little run-down and could do with some...More

Saturday at the Monument the first act arrived. In a barrel, the barrel opened and a five piece band got out. Fantastic music and musicians. Fireworks and streamers shot out of the barrel. Very good display. On to Exhibition Park where there were many stalls...More

It’s good to see that Newcastle’s legions of charvers haven’t ruined this place. The kids’ play area is good, the place is well maintained, and there’s always Wylam Brewery for a pretentious pint.

we found this Park very disappointing despite it being located in the heart of Newcastle City. It covers quite an expanse of grassed area which no doubt is excellent for people who just like to walk or run for exercise. The children's play facilities are...More

Visited recently as a couple with our dog. The park is well maintained and it was lovely to have a short walk around the park and small lake on a glorious day. There are several areas where you can exercise free of charge on the...More

There does seem to be a lot of litter across Newcastle, and the park is no exception. There's not too much to the park, a café and play area, a skate thing, and plenty of grass. At one end sits a large pond complete with...More

A park long past its former glory, unkempt ,dirty and not a nice place even to walk the dog. I would not like visitors to think all our parks were on this scale.

Lots of money spent on new play park and facilities. Money well spent. The kids like the skate park as well.

Have taken part in running events in this park, which is a lovely mix of hard paths and the famous cow hills. The cafe is a great place to recover and parking is reasonable in the nearby Claremont Road car park. There is also a...More

A bunch of us met in the park in the school holidays. Seven adults and nine children played until we got cold, then popped into the cafe to warm up. There’s a lovely walk around the lake, a skate park area, several play areas and...More

Entry is free, your nearest metro station is Haymarket, there's also a bus station, that's a 10minute walk. To walk from Jesmond is about 15mins.
