We were leaving Newcastle on a Sunday morning, but knew there was a market that took place on the Quayside, so delayed our departure slightly to check it out. And I'm really glad we did. There's an eclectic mix of stalls. At the western end...More

Visited the market on a cold morning, freeze point to be exact. However one can easily immersed in the sights and sounds of the place to totally forget about the frozen fingers. Interesting stalls and amusing ways the stall holders market their wares. Food trucks...More

Really interesting stalls, street performers and some great eating outlets. Really good street food from many countries around the world. Not expensive. And if it gets a bit chilly, just get into one of the pubs or hotels to warm up.

It will take nearly all morning to see it all, there is stalls for literally everything here you could possibly want. Food, drinks, presents, clothes, everything a woman could want with a sunday market!

I'm not a market expert, but I tend to walk through the Quayside Market when I'm in Newcastle on a Sunday Morning. Lots of stalls selling photographs of the Tyne Bridges (framed or unframed). I spotted one stall selling second-hand Vinyl/CDs/DVDs, others selling food including...More

Lots of nice food stalls and a range of arts, crafts, jewellery, clothing and plants as well as some more low cost options means that the market is worth a wander - especially on a nice day

Used to visit the market frequently when in my youth but today was the first visit in a long time, it's changed so much & is in keeping with the great bars & stunning architecture that Newcastle is synonymous with. A wide & varied choice...More
