Really enjoyed wandering round the Sunday Market. A good variety of stalls. We ended up buying cheeses, olives and spices.

Lovely choice for local goods and food. Small but lots to choose. Local pictures to buy. Interesting to walk and it is good to see the bridge rise to let the bigger boats go under.

On a cold Sunday January morning, we managed to use 3 hours of our day browsing the market, sampling the amazing food and haggling with the locals. Friendly market, with lovely people! Young and old bought something of use and souvenirs! Thanks for a lovely afternoon. Great prices and lots of lovely things to look at & try!

On a sunny morning this market is an ideal place to while away a couple of hours. A mix of traditional market and artisan stalls selling all sorts of interesting stuff. This is the second time we have been here and we will come again.

This is a bustling market right on the quayside. Gets really busy, lots of tat stalls and fancy stalls to. Loads of street food available, worth a visit. Great location and atmosphere.

We read some good reviews about the Sunday market so decided to venture down to the quays to have a look during a weekend stay in Newcastle. There were some quality craft stalls and some very good street food stalls but these were interspersed with market stalls selling utter tat. It was extremely busy and at times very claustrophobic so... More

Visited quayside 23rd October. Plenty of foodstalls catering for all tastes, along with local arts and crafts. Worth a look but items could be found cheaper elsewhere.

Great morning wandering around the Quayside market, some really good food stands, notably the toasted sandwiches and the ragout of pork with macaroni cheese served in edible dishes. Loved.
