NEVIS RANGE Mountain Experience is in the heart of the Highlands of Scotland, 7 miles north of Fort William. The mountain gondola will transport you to 650m on Aonach Mor where you'll find the Snowgoose restaurant & bar with awesome views, mountain trails, kids play area, and the Mountain discovery Centre (summer only). In the winter, we're open for sledging, skiing and boarding. There's biking for all in Leanachan forest, plus bike wash, bike hire and a skills park. The NEVIS downhill track (with gondola uplift) hosts the Mountian Bike World Cup each year and there's the new red Route opening in summer 2009. We hope you love it as much as we do!

We were lucky that this was open for visitors as any gusty winds or extreme rain will shut down this place. The week that we visited was laced with fierce winds and rain but we were lucky right through the Scotland tour as we did...More

Driving out of Fort William we saw the sign for the cable car on the Nevis Range Mountains. A definite stop. We were so luckily because the day before the cable cars weren't running due to dodgy weather, but the day we stopped although cloudy,...More

We went up on the cable car in November. It goes really high up, so the view is amazing. It cost £13 for an adult for a return ticket. No need to buy parking ticket at this time of the year, check the machine before...More

The cable car ride was a great start to an enjoyable visit to this attraction. Take your waterproofs with you as the weather was very changeable. Good food was available at the restaurant i'm not too expensive.

Well worth the time taken to get to the top despite the weather on that day. The restaurant offered good hot food and again a good kids meal offering. The parsnip and ginger soup was great!! A great experience for our granddaughter.

Gondola is a little pricey but the views are spectacular. Even better when its snowing. Cafe is a little pricey as well but the food is a good stop gap until you get a meal in the evening.

The gondola ride itself is nice and slowly cruises along the mountain upto the viewing station, and restaurant. The views (on a clear day) are pretty good and the restaurant is reasonably priced with decent options. But for anyone whose being to the Gulmarg Gondola...More

The Gondola ride takes about 15 mins or so and was £13 per person. Well worth it, views are breathtaking. Was a clear day so helped! The cafe at the top served tasty enough food / snacks. Do it!!!

Well worth the trip on the gondola, as my wife is not very steady on her feet, the gondola winch driver stopped the cable to allow my wife to board at both top and bottom stations. Views were spectacular and prices at the top restaurant...More

I have looked on Google Maps, and that indicates a distance of 5.2 miles, which would take I hour and 41 minutes to walk.

Not online.. But you can buy them from Visitors' Centre. Also, there are hundreds of Gondolas, so- will not have to worry about being late!
