Spent a morning here to go cycling with the family. Took the Tang Trail which is a 6 mile ride around the perimeter of the forest along woodland trails, gravel and a tiny bit of road. It was great, totally flat. The forest also has playground equipment for the kids and an area alongside the car park which families set... More

This place is beautiful with its tall trees and open spaces. There are lots of different pathways to head towards, although kids excitedly headed for the wooden play areas which were not far from the car park and could be seen nestled in the woods. After a picnic, we followed the UFO trail, which was roughly 5k the whole way... More

Went for a day out in the school holidays with my grandson, granddaughter, sister, grand nephew and our 2 dogs. Parking wasn't a problem and once we'd unloaded my mobility scooter we all set off for a walk towards the play equipment. The dogs ( a minature poodle and a yorkie poo) were off lead and thoroughly enjoyed running with... More

Great for couples, families and friends and just enjoying the great outdoors. Rendlesham Forest offers pleasant walks, cycle trails, a children's adventure playground, picnic area and freedom to explore. Follow the UFO trail, where in the 1980's strange lights, mysterious sitings and other unfathomable occurrences took place. Take your bikes, dogs, children, parents and have a lovely day out.

Reasonably priced car park £3.50 all day. We enjoyed the UFO walk although thought it could do with a little more to keep you interested as you walk round. Even though there were lots of cars on the car park we barely saw anybody walking round. It was a shame that the UFO model at the end had been graffitied... More

Let the kids run wild and enjoy what all children should have...A free and wild childhood. Fresh air, healthy walks, pretend play, good muddy funwith nature. Family or romantic walks, really great place. Camping site, star gazing, pond dipping, alien hunting, terrific play parks, picnics......What are you waiting for?????

The main walks, such as the UFO trail are 3 miles and the cycle routes 6/10 miles. having said that the criss-cross so with a map, which you can get from the main car park, you can shorten or lengthen as you wish. there are short child friendly walks and play areas. The forest centre is relatively flat so the... More
