Sorry but we have been to this market many times over the years when visitimg Bury and it has always been good but now not so sure. There were plenty of fruit and veg stalls but charging supermarket prices and in some cases more.

A beautiful town to spend a day in. The new modern shops are separated from the charming market old town so as not to spoil the look.
The Market isn't huge but has a great mix of different stalls and some great purchases.
A very good market, not the usual cliched stalks that you usually get, a wide range of food on sale and a good selection of other items, fits in well with the town too. Only visiting the area but it’s one of the best markets...More
Really nice local market, apparently every Wednesday and Saturday. Plenty of on street parking nearby, although a bit expensive at £2.20 for the first hour.
