Monkey Forest is completely unique to the UK. It is the only place that you can walk amongst 140 Barbary macaques roaming free in 60 acres of beautiful English Forest. Walking in the park transports you into a different world through close contact with the monkeys.

We went expecting at least a good few hrs there . Don't get me wrong we enjoyed seeing the monkeys . But it's literally a 20min walk around and then that's it . So I'd recommend visiting either in the morning or end of day in between other plans through out your day . Some say it's bit expensive. Bit... More

Monkey Forest is a half day attraction. The 3/4 of a mile pathway takes most visitors around an hour and a half to two hours. This includes listening to one of the hourly feeding talks which are 15minutes long, reading the information boards, talking to our brilliant guides and simply stopping to watch the monkeys. Thank you for your comments,... More

Me, my mum and younger sister visited here in the summer and enjoyed it. The monkeys are roaming free and come really close to you. The staff are on hand and will answer any questions you have. It's more of a morning or afternoon outing rather than a whole day thing.

As an adult, my aim is to keep my children entertained. When i went to this, I took my petite children. they were all young boys. As we walked round, a little roadman monkey squared up and broke my youngest sons nose.

Thank you for your review, although we are sure you definitely haven't visited Trentham Monkey Forest. This certainly wouldn't have happened here at Monkey Forest. Our monkeys are not fazed by the viewing public and multiple guides are at hand throughout the forest for the safety of both the monkeys and customers. Park safety is paramount in what we do... It's not often that you get to walk with monkeys and the forest park gives you that feeling. It's brilliant.

Visited here a few years ago with my autistic twins - they absolutely loved it!! Obviulsy members of the public should not attemp to approach any of the monkeys and equally, the monkeys don't come close to customers. Such a wonderful place though with friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff too :D

What a waste of money, over priced the monkeys are all the same, it's basically a walk with monkeys.

Walking with monkeys is what makes Trentham Monkey Forest unique to the UK. Visitors can to see 140 Barbary macaques, living in two groups just as they would in the wild. Most visitors love the fact they get to see the monkeys living freely within the forest. Thank you for your comments, we're sorry to hear you did not enjoy... More

Been here a few times. Really enjoyed it, be careful not to go in breeding season if you have little children .Also they pinch things like sweets, cakes and bottles if you don't watch them

Thank you for your review. Park rules state that food and drink is not allowed in the forest and all visitors are told this on arrival. There is also an area where bags and picnics can be left. Thank you for your comments. More
