Monkey Forest is completely unique to the UK. It is the only place that you can walk amongst 140 Barbary macaques roaming free in 60 acres of beautiful English Forest. Walking in the park transports you into a different world through close contact with the monkeys.

Cheap place to visit considering you get to see loads of monkeys. Super close to Trentham Gardens if you want to do more than the monkey forest.

My children enjoyed seeing the monkeys but it was over far too quickly. There is a play ground but for the price you pay I was hoping for a little more. We took a picnic thank goodness but our friends didn't and the price for the food was very steep. Needs more things to do for the price.

Thank you for leaving a review. Monkey Forest is very reasonably priced. Like you said, especially when you get to see 140 free roaming monkeys! Monkey Forest can be teamed with Trentham Gardens for a brilliant full day out on the estate. We hope to welcome you back again soon. More

We visited on the opening day of the new season, the start of half-term, so it was fairly busy. The walk through the monkey forest is really enjoyable as you get to see the monkeys at close quarters. There are staff throughout the forest who provide information on the monkey behaviour and how they interact with each other. Whilst the... More

Can't really comment as was not open despite claiming to be open on website. Haven driven for over an hour we were very disappointed to be told to come back tomorrow- not a possibility! Would suggest calling to check before visiting but this shouldn't be necessary in an age where companies can share such changes via their website.

As stated across all our social media channels, we're currently experiencing issues with our website which is being fixed as we speak. As part of the process, the website uploaded old details and formatting including 2016 times and prices which was out of our control. Despite showing old details it did clearly state '2016' opening times and prices. As soon... More

The monkey forest at Trentham is a very lovely place to visit. Me and my partner took his son to see the monkeys over the summer period and it was truly a lovely place to visit. With all the monkeys running around and jumping and being able to see them up close and personal is really lovely and I would... More

Well worth a visit. You get very close to the monkeys and, if you are lucky, there may be babies. The staff give a talk at feeding time which is very informative. The kids will love this venue. These monkeys are used to people but just remember that they are not tame so you cannot touch them as they will... More

Thank you for your review. Park rules state you must stay at least a meters distance at all times. These rules are in place as our monkeys are wild animals and you're entering their home. The monkeys are unfazed by the viewing public and live just as they would in the wild. Thank you for your comments, we hope to... More

Had such a laugh here. Watching all the monkeys and what they get upto. The kids will love it .....just as much as the adults. Wear.comfy shoes as it's a nice walk but not heel worthy.

Trentham Monkey Forest Park is a good half day outing. The monkeys are free to roam around the park and there are no barriers between you and the monkeys, so keep to the paths. The staff are dotted around the park and are very helpful and knowledgable. There are also plaques sited at specific places to give you infomation regarding... More

Visited with my children. They got bored really fast ..... Was fun to watch the monkeys being fed but I do have to admit it wasn't worth the money we spent to enter.

We're sorry to hear your children were bored whilst here. With our 2 play areas, multiple information boards, free children's quiz, interesting feeding talk and very entertaining monkeys most children love visiting Monkey Forest. Thank you for your comments. More

Monkey Forest is unique to the UK and we feel our prices are very reasonable in comparison to other animal attractions. Most visitors spend around an hour and a half to two hours within the monkey enclosure which includes listening to a feeding talk (15mins each) reading the information boards, talking to our guides, taking pictures and simply stopping to...
