A well run little steam railway close to Stoke on Trent, with some interesting and very old steam locomotives. The journey through the English countryside was pleasant rather than inspiring. Food was edible and cheap if a little over heavy on the "and chips". Staff...More

Not the largest of railways, but well organised and great facilities. Lots of small steam and diesel engines to look at and a 40 minute round trip to enjoy. A nice afternoon out and some lovely walks in the surrounding area too. Recommended.
