After riding along the canal this place is great for a picnic and a little stroll around the lake. Plenty of wildlife to see. Areas to play if you have kids

We walked along the canal from longport and happened upon westport lake. We only went in to the visitors centre which had a lovely outdoor balcony where we could look out over the lake. We had hot cheese oatcakes and drinks. Looks like a nice...More

First visit here and i loved it and will return.Great cafe with easy access or stairs.Superb terrace outside overlooking the lake.Shade tables or sunny ones ! A delight to stroll around and lots of geese and swans etc - all very friendly ! Lovely pools...More

A nice leisurely stroll around the lake with plenty of wildlife to look at and admire The ducks and geese may follow you but they don’t mean you any harm

Beautiful place, great variety of birds including Swans, Canadian Geese, Chinese Geese, Moorhens, Coots and Piggeons. The vounteers are carrying out some amazing pathwork.
