Visited as we needed to use the toilets and didnt want to be rude and not buy anything so we had a drink and a bite to eat. The pub has a lovely local vibe, but we wernt made to feel like outsiders or unwelcome....More

The staff here are lovely very friendly and welcoming and I can't recommend the Sunday roast enough its lush I never have a clean plate but I did here as it was amazing I even ate my veg I hate veg seriously try it out...More

Dropped in after a visit to the Tor (4 adults 2 children). A good selection of well priced drinks available and suitable lunch menu. Bar staff were friendly bar area comfortable.

Stayed nearby renting a house in Meare, 10 of us. The guys wanted to watch football so came in here. This is a great pub to keep you occupied even if you’re not watching football! They had darts, pool table and skittles (the Somerset way)...More

I'm sorry but didn't notice a tv but there could have been one in another part of the pub.
