Tucked away yet easy to find. We were as much impressed by the love and attention which has ensured its preservation and this includes the small but delightful garden in which it is set.

This is tucked away from most of the attractions in Dunster. It is in really good condition and is the first dovecote I have seen with the wooden central bit inside which made it very interesting

This lovely old dovecote has been beautifully restored to its former glory and stands amongst other restored buildings. The door is usually open so that you can see the interior. It doesn't take very long to visit it, but its well worth the effort.

The visit to the Dovecote reminds you of how the wealthy and well connected got fresh meat through the winter. Although only a short visit, it was very interesting.

This was the first dovecote I had seen and for a free and accessible attraction it was quite good. Of course it doesn't take long to see and look at but the information board, coupled with the restored building made it worthwhile.

The dovecote is set in a lovely but small garden. There is no entry into it but you can look inside from the doorway and read the history of it. It is worth planning your walk to see it.
