The only remaining cheese makers in the Village of Cheddar, Somerset, UK. Passionate to preserve and protect this world famous cheese, John and Katherine Spencer and their exceptional team continue the tradition of hand-making unpasteurised cheddar cheese which they long-mature in cloth, the traditional way. With a small Visitor Centre and remarkable shop situated in the beautiful Cheddar Gorge itself, they welcome you to watch them make it, learn a little more about this heritage cheese and, of course, taste it!

Amazing cheeses, very friendly and informative staff. Always used to visit when younger on holiday with family in and around Somerset. Now when ever this part of England always a must visit to pick up some cheese. Marmite cheese is literally perfection.
