Horrendous. It is so ridiculously busy that it's nothing short of dangerous. When we first arrived we wanted to seek out somewhere for lunch, after a long journey. After being horrified by how busy it was we were keen to get away from the Market...More

I love Bath any time of year but the Christmas Market is special. It takes over the whole of the old town and meanders through the streets and squares. Go at night, it's so beautiful and atmospheric. The stalls are about 90% local products which...More

Didn’t plan for this but the market had us occupied for two good hours. We are definitely not shoppers type of tourist and we didn’t buy anything off any stalls but there were many things to see and the atmosphere was enjoyable. The stalls are...More

I knew this market was highly rated but it was even better than I imagined. The setting is lovely, of course. The stalls themselves have a wide range of goods from unique garden ornaments to hand made chocolates. They wind through the little streets, themselves...More

Never ever ever again. I've been for quite a few years and experienced it being busy but the popularity has spiraled out of control making it a horrendous experience. Don't do it to yourself - awful day.

Have visited for the past few years and always chose a weekday. Only had a Saturday free this year and I regret going to be honest. So many people that at one stage nobody could move, we were all wedged together! Impossible to get close...More

If I never see another mini-chalet filled with stuff to entice Christmas shoppers I will not be too disappointed.... but then I hate shopping... and crowds...... Having said that the market was absolutely packed on a Sunday night and Monday daytime. It heaved with shoppers...More

I came to Bath a few years ago just before the Christmas market started and it was beautiful. The tree was up in front of the Abbey and we had a lovely wander around. This year we decided to go during the Christmas market and...More
